Stefano Massini is an Italian writer, dramaturge, essayist, and television presenter. He was born in 1975 in Florence. His career as a dramaturg began in 2001 when he completed his studies at the Florence School of Antiquity Literature. In 2005, he was awarded the "Premio Tondelli'' literary prize for original dramaturgy. One of Massini's most recognized works is "The Seven Minutes," which has been staged in numerous prestigious worldwide theaters, including the "Comédie Française." Based on this foundation, Italian director and actor Michele Placido adapted his own film under the same title.

"The Seven Minutes" explores a profound international corporate corruption within the fabric of "Picard & Roche' ' textile factory. The new bosses, seemingly, are not keen on making cuts, and it seems the workers can breathe a sigh of relief. But... the new self-appointed directors want to impose a small point on the labor contract negotiation table... Eleven doors in the closed room must decide whether to accept whether the daily 15-minute breaks should be shortened by 7 minutes. It's not a big deal... but the decision will affect all 200 workers in the factory, and the appointed spokesperson of the corporate negotiation has ulterior motives.
