The Hamazgayin State Theatre was founded in 1991 by renowned actor Sos Sargsyan. Mais Karagezyan, Shaum Ghazaryan, Hrachya Gasparyan, Karen Janibekyan, Galya Novents, David Hakobyan, Karine Dzhandzhugazyan and others made a great contribution to the formation, recognition and development of the theatre.
