Karen Khachatryan

Born in 1969 in Gyumri. 

Graduated from the Yerevan State Institute of Theatre and Cinema in 1995 in acting, and in 2000 graduated from the Directing department. 

He has worked as an actor at the Hamazgayin State Theatre since 1996. Past roles include, "King Lear" (Spa), "May Be Saved" (Lord), "Under 44 Degrees" (Karapet), "Oh, Women, Women" (Professor), "Shkhonts Mihran" (Swan), "Christmas at the Cupiello's" (Nikolino), "The Threepenny Opera" (Peachum), "Balise" (Karlay), among others. 

In 2009, Karen Khachatryan directed "Dragon" at the Hamazgayin State Theatre. 

In 2015 Karen Khachatryan was awarded by Golden Medal of RA Ministry of Culture.
