Vanik Mkrtchyan

Born in 1950 in Pokr Artik. 

In 1978, he graduated from the Yerevan State Institute of Fine Arts and started working at the Hakop Paronyan Musical Theatre Institute.

He started working as an actor at the Hamazgayin State Theatre in 2008. Past roles include, "Sale" (Ardashes), "Christmas at the Cupiello's" (Luka), "Bread Problem" (Aghajan), "Salvation Island" (Ozeck), "Hamlet" (Actor), "Dragon" (Charleman), among others. 

In 2010 he was awarded the Gold Medal of the Union of Theatrical Figures of Armenia and the Ministry of Culture, as well as a certificate from the mayor. 

In 2011 Vanik Mkrtchyan was awarded the title of Honored Artist.
