Karine Janjukhazyan

Born in 1962 in Stepanavan Akhtala. 

In 1983, she graduated from the Acting Department of the Yerevan State Institute of Fine Arts, Kim Arzumanyan course. 

She has worked as an actress at the Hamazgayin State Theatre since 1992. Past roles include, "Tulips" (Armenuhi), "Santa's Head" (Woman), "Heated Lover in Bed" (Woman), "Tartuffe" (Doreen), "King Lear" (Goneril), "Sale" (Madeline), "Light Will" (Woman), "A Cup of Kindness" (Harmony), "Oscar" (Juliet), "Blaise" (Ariana Clarence), "Bread Problem" (Mariam), among others. 

In 2012, Karine won the "Artavazd" award from the Theatre Workers Union of Armenia for her performance as Madeline in "Sale." The same year she won a gold medal in arts by the Ministry of Culture. 

In 2012 Karine Janjukhazyan was awarded the title of Honored Artist.
